About Oak & Elm
Oak & Elm was born from survival and from beginning from scratch.
In 2024, Corey was hit by a car — an accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury, multiple fractures, and a total femur replacement. Alicia was among the first on the scene that day, and she hasn't gone more than an hour or two without him since.
They had made candles before, but never like this.
Now, there’s more of a reason.
Every hand-poured candle is a reflection of the day — of grief, of recovery, and the quiet gratitude for still being here. Oak & Elm is more than a business, it's the proof that light can be made by hand, even after the darkest hours.
A portion of proceeds goes towards brain injury research and recovery assistance, aiding others along their journey back towards the light as well.
